Olanda de Rooij
Olanda grew up in the Netherlands and has lived in France since 1982. After working for several years as a biologist and later as a piano teacher she found her calling in 2001 as a flat hunter and has found many dream apartments for international clients here in Paris, we are very pleased that she found us and brought her expertise to VINGT Paris.
She has lived for 10 years in the 18th arrondissement, which is still one of her favourite places in Paris. Olanda spends her time away from apartment hunting involved with music, architecture, art, photography, oil-painting, decoration, traveling, hiking and cycling.
Favourite local bar/café:
I like meeting friends Au Père Tranquille. It’s a central place with a nice terrace and under the lee away from the noise of cars.
Favourite local café/restaurant:
Tamarin in Vincennes and Metropolitain in the Marais.
A walk in the charming streets of Montmartre, including Le Hall Saint-Pierre and Le Marché Saint-Pierre.
Plateau de fromage with a glass of red wine.
The best thing about your quartier:
For a couple of years I have been living in the east of Paris, where I enjoy my garden and terraces in a quiet surrounding. We had an ecological wooden house built and I loved doing the floorplans and the decoration.
