MITCH ROSE – INTERNATIONAL SALES

Posted on November 14, 2016 by Anita Baker

One of the newer members of the team, Mitch Rose has a wealth of experience, having worked in the property industry for 20 years, and we are delighted to have him on board with us. He has extensive knowledge in the prestige market, working with international clients and corporate institutions. “Understanding the needs of clients is key, listening is my forté and the client is king!” says Mitch.

Born in London, he has lived in Paris for over 25 years, is totally bilingual and knows the city inside out. A resident of the 9th arrondissement throughout this time, he has witnessed many changes in the area over the last few years…

Favourite local bar?
I don't go to bars, but I do go to a very nice brasserie on rue Rochechouart called Aimee et Odette, which has a nice terrace and you get a good cocktail.

Favourite local café/restaurant?
Babe on square Montholon in the 9th arrondissement. It's buzzy and friendly, the owner is a lover of eclectic music, it has interesting décor and, located on the square, it gives a nice perspective onto 100-year-old trees.

Local indulgence?
The famous chocolate shop, À la Mère de Famille, which dates back to 1761. I love their marron glacé!

Guilty pleasure?
Bread – we have several great boulangeries in the quarter.

The best thing about your quartier?
The 9th arrondissement is very central and you can walk everywhere from where I live. It has also changed into a family-orientated neigbourhood with interesting streets – such as the rue des Martyrs. There, you will find a number of specialist food shops – from Italian macaroons to tea and even a shop that specialises just in jam!
