Sometimes dubbed ‘the Mediterranean Capital of Cool’, Tel Aviv is known for its beautiful beaches, Bauhaus architecture and buzzing cultural scene. The academic and cultural centre of Israel, as well as its economic hub, this vibrant city is an interesting mix of old and new, coastal and urban, traditional and modern. Highlights include the beautiful walled city of Jaffa, with its ancient port, and the modern heart of Tel Aviv, the White City, with its 1930’s Bauhaus buildings. Interestingly, Tel Aviv remains something of a hidden gem on the international property scene. So, as a result, the prices are still pretty competitive when compared to equivalent destinations in Europe.
