France’s doyenne of Design, André Putnam, renovated the mythic L’Institut Guerlain, which is credited with being the first modern day spa, inaugurated in 1939.
The result is a luxe wonderland with the centrepiece being a vast gold-beaded chandelier containing the full range of perfumes. Walls and ceilings are covered in golden mosaic tiles.
A place to pamper or be pampered.
