Fancy swapping your home for a week or two on board a yacht? It’s a lot easier than you might think. Here, we bring you three unique vessels in the South of France that are all available to charter
As anyone who has spent time in the South of France will know, the area is as much synonymous with its sumptuous super-yachts as it is with its sunny weather and sandy beaches. Pop down to any harbour and adorning the water will be no end of spaceship-like sailing vessels. Perched on the decks of these dazzling white water-craft, you may also spot the occasional celebrity or two, peering out from behind over-sized shades.
Indeed, from Hollywood stars and film directors to tech billionaires and even royalty, owning your own mega-yacht has never been more popular. However, a top-of-the-range model can set you back up to €500 million – and that’s not to mention the mooring fees and the staff. Then there’s the sheer practicality of maintaining the vessel, with the upkeep to think about, and what to do with it in the winter etc. But there’s a surprisingly simple alternative that’s as easy as booking a holiday…
Without further ado, here we bring you three of the finest yachts in the South of France that are all available for charter.
AXIOMA
Spanning 72m, AXIOMA is quite simply one of the most spectacular yachts on the water. As soon as you step onboard, you’ll be wowed by the huge glass-edge infinity pool, surrounded by a deck space for sunbathing, cocktails and mingling with friends. Continue inside to the yacht’s jaw-dropping main salon, a double-height space with a unique mezzanine gallery. Designed by the late, great designer Alberto Pinto, the interiors have been created in a relaxing beach-house style, and feature a 3D cinema and private gym. After all that exertion, why not wind down with a massage in the onboard spa from one of the trained professionals on the crew, enjoying exclusive products by luxury beauty brand The Organic Pharmacy. Further relaxation is available in the large jacuzzi with swim-up bar on the bridge deck. AXIOMA accommodates 12 guests in six sumptuous cabins, including a master-sized VIP suite and a dedicated owner’s deck with media lounge.
SEVEN SINS
One of the most talked-about new yacht launches of the last year, the 52m SEVEN SINS offers unparalleled ocean living in stunning surroundings. A huge outdoor beach space spans two decks of the yacht: relax in the over-sized glass swimming pool (or work out against its counter-flow jets), then head down to the huge beach club below, which has folding balconies on three sides creating a massive indoor-outdoor ocean-level lounge space. You’ll also find a gym and sauna here for the ultimate on-ocean well-being experience. By night, or when not in use, the area can be flooded with water and transformed into a pick-up point, allowing the crew to drive the tender right inside the yacht to drop off and collect guests easily and discreetly. SEVEN SINS’ interior is filled with light through innovative use of glass, offering fantastic views for the 10 lucky guests accommodated onboard.
OCEAN’S SEVEN
Built for long-range cruising in luxurious comfort, the 42m OCEAN’S SEVEN is the perfect family yacht, ideal for relaxation, entertaining and dining. Head outside for some R&R on the semi-shaded sundeck – then take a dip in the jacuzzi, sip a fresh cocktail at the bar and enjoy fresh food from the electric barbecue, where the yacht’s chef can prepare a relaxed family feast. Formal dining is offered on the main deck and, as with every aspect of your yacht charter experience, cuisine is tailored to your tastes and prepared with the finest ingredients. OCEAN’S SEVEN accommodates 10 guests in five cabins: the luxurious master suite on the main deck spans the full width of the yacht and on the lower deck are two inviting VIP suites as well as two twin cabins, each with a further bunk for extra guests.
