The Maison Européene de la Photographie hosts a new round of photography exhibitions every three to four months. Drawing on its own significant permanent collection and from other collections worldwide, it consistently delivers high quality exhibits notable not only for their content, but also for their impeccable installation and bilingual exhibition texts.

MEP does all this on a large scale. Located in a converted residential building at St. Paul, in the 4th arrondissement, its several floors provide a lot of exhibition space. With free opening hours from 17h-20h, Wednesday evenings are ideal for a casual walk-through, but otherwise it’s best to set aside an hour – or two – simply in order to see all the work on display.

Its current set of six exhibits (now on view through January 6) present a typically diverse range of subjects and media.
